Project Name: Cook Xeriscaping
Type: Xeriscape
Location: Loveland, Colorado
About This Project
This front yard xeriscaping project was completed for a homeowner seeking a low-maintenance, water-efficient alternative to turf. Rolling Green Landscaping partnered with Helios Landscape Design to develop a detailed site plan, which included plant placement, boulder layout, and irrigation adjustments. This project involved:
-
Removal of existing turf and debris
-
Placement of large landscape boulders (hand-selected for scale and fit)
-
Installation of mulch, decorative rock, and planters mix
-
Planting of drought-tolerant species based on the designer’s specifications
-
Retrofitting the existing irrigation system with a drip configuration to efficiently water the new plantings
The end result is a clean, sustainable landscape requiring minimal maintenance—typically just a spring or fall cleanup once per year.
